Pepper Western is a food and beverage company located in Bayan Baru, Penang, specializing in serving quality and affordable Western cuisine to local customers. The restaurant focuses on providing delicious meals, comfortable dining experiences, and friendly customer service for families, working professionals, students, and food enthusiasts in the Penang community.

Responsibilities / Task :

• Welcome and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist customers with menu selections, provide recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
• Take accurate customer orders and communicate orders clearly to the kitchen team.
• Serve food and beverages according to restaurant service standards.
• Ensure customers receive excellent service throughout their dining experience.
• Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations.
• Prepare tables before customers arrive and clear tables after customers leave.
• Ensure food presentation and service quality meet Pepper Western’s standards.
• Support cashiering duties, takeaway orders, and restaurant operations when required.
• Assist in restocking utensils, beverages, and service equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Work closely with kitchen crew and team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Requirements :

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a waiter, service crew, or restaurant staff is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in F&B industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
• Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work under pressure during busy hours.
• Well-groomed and maintain professional appearance.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform restaurant duties.
• Possess own transportation is an advantage.
• Able to work in Bayan Baru, Penang.
