Job Summary

The Roastery Production Assistant is responsible for supporting daily coffee manufacturing operations from green bean staging to final order fulfillment. This role ensures that roasting schedules are executed efficiently, packaging and labeling adhere to strict quality standards, and the production environment remains clean, safe, and organized.

Core Responsibilities1. Pre-Roast & Green Coffee Handling

• Batch Preparation: Accurately weigh and stage green coffee bean batches according to the daily roasting schedule and blend profiles.
• Defect Screening: Perform visual inspection and manual sorting of green coffee to remove physical defects, foreign objects, or debris before roasting.
• Green Stock Organization: Keep green bean storage organized, ensuring bags are properly sealed, elevated off the floor, and labeled with origin, lot numbers, and arrival dates.

Working Conditions

• 5 days work week (depending on company setup).
• Office-based with occasional visits to operations if required.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
