We're Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer II

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang

Salary: RM3,500 – RM5,500/month

Contract: 12 months (Renewable / Potential absorption to permanent based on performance)

Are you passionate about driving manufacturing excellence, process optimization, and continuous improvement? We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team and play a key role in developing, validating, and improving manufacturing processes and equipment in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support development, optimization, validation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes and technologies

Collaborate with R&D and Manufacturing teams to transfer new products into commercial production

Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (DFSS/DMAIC), and continuous improvement methodologies

Lead and support equipment, process, and validation activities including FMEA, Validation Plans, Protocols, and Reports

Analyze test data and implement effective technical solutions

Ensure compliance with Quality Systems, regulatory requirements, and product quality standards

Support calibration, metrology, and equipment management activities (where applicable)

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field

2–5 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience

Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Process Validation, PFMEA, and Root Cause Analysis

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred
