Job Responsibilities
Perform installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems.
Service and maintain split units, VRV/VRF systems, Air Handling Units (AHU), Fan Coil Units (FCU), package units, and chilled water systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on compressors, motors, electrical control panels, thermostats, sensors, and other HVAC components.
Conduct refrigerant leak detection, gas charging, pressure testing, and system performance checks.
Inspect, clean, and replace filters, coils, drain lines, and other system components to ensure optimal performance.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with maintenance schedules and safety standards.
Attend to emergency breakdowns and resolve equipment faults promptly to minimize downtime.
Complete service reports, maintenance records, and work documentation accurately.
Liaise with customers, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with workplace safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
NITEC/Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, ACMV, or a related field.
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in servicing and maintaining ACMV systems.
Knowledge of split units, VRV/VRF systems, AHU, FCU, and chilled water systems is preferred.
Familiar with HVAC troubleshooting, electrical controls, and refrigerant handling.
Able to work independently and respond to emergency service calls when required.
Possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
Posess Class 3 driving licence
