Job Overview

The Assistant / Logistics Manager bridges the gap between strategic supply chain planning and day-to-day warehouse operations. In this role, you will lead international shipping schedules, manage warehouse execution, and enforce medical device storage and handling standards. You will optimize fulfillment pipelines across local healthcare institutions (hospitals, clinics, pharmacy chains), B2C e-commerce platforms, and BUZUD retail showrooms.

Key Responsibilities

1. International Freight & Shipping Execution

• Global Shipping Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound international shipments across air, sea, and express couriers.

• Customs & Documentation: Prepare, review, and verify shipping documentation (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin) for smooth Singapore customs clearance.

• Freight Forwarder Tracking: Monitor shipments proactively, resolve transit delays with 3PLs/forwarders, and provide accurate ETAs to procurement and sales teams.

2. Warehouse Operations & Cold Chain Management

• Inventory & Cold Chain Supervision: Oversee warehouse workflows for sensitive monitoring components (e.g., Continuous Glucose Monitors / CGMs, rapid test kits), maintaining cold-chain integrity (temperature and humidity controls).

• Stock Accuracy: Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits to ensure physical stock matches the ERP system.

• Fulfillment Pipeline: Coordinate stock replenishment for retail outlets (e.g., Guardian, hospital showrooms) and B2C e-commerce orders.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Quality Control

• GDPMDS & HSA Standards: Maintain compliance with GDPMDS (Good Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) standards and HSA (Health Sciences Authority) regulations.

• Product Traceability: Enforce strict lot/batch/serial number tracking for all incoming and outgoing medical hardware.

• Discrepancy Reporting: Document temperature excursions, damaged goods, or freight discrepancies, assisting quality teams with Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) plans.

4. B2B & Last-Mile Distribution

• Institutional Fulfillment: Coordinate B2B distribution schedules supplying major local hospital networks, medical clinics, and pharmacy chains.

• Last-Mile & Vendor Management: Oversee last-mile delivery partners to meet key performance indicators (On-Time Delivery, Order Accuracy, lower delivery costs).

Job Requirements

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably within medical devices, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or cold-chain logistics.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with GDPMDS processes and HSA regulatory guidelines in Singapore.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong vendor management skills, and high attention to detail.
