About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Locum Clinic Assistant to support daily operations within a Clinical Research Unit (CRU). You will play an important role in ensuring smooth clinic operations while providing administrative and patient support for clinical research activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Register and attend to study participants professionally.
• Prepare consultation rooms and ensure clinical areas are well-organized.
• Assist with basic patient care, including measuring vital signs (e.g. blood pressure, temperature, height and weight).
• Perform specimen handling, labeling, and transportation in accordance with study protocols.
• Assist doctors, nurses, and research staff during clinical procedures when required.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate participant visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry for clinical research activities.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols, and infection control guidelines.
• Perform general administrative and clinic support duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum GCE 'N' / 'O' Level, NITEC, or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a Clinic Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Patient Service Associate, or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Comfortable interacting with patients and research participants.
• Basic computer literacy and accurate data entry skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
