Job Title: Information Technology (IT) & Facility Executive

Location: ASEM HQ, Cyberjaya, Selangor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: 1–2 years

Skills/Attributes/Compentencies

1. Strong technical knowledge of Windows environments (Operating System, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange), networking, backup and storage solutions, databases, Data Center infrastructure, cloud technologies, and building/facility management systems.
2. Hands-on experience in the setup, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of servers, firewalls, network equipment, Data Center infrastructure, office IT equipment, and building facilities.
3. Practical xperience in facility operations, including preventive maintenance, contractor management, building services, safety compliance, and coordination of repair and maintenance activities.
4. Experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing IT infrastructure and facility improvement projects is an added advantage.
5. Knowledge of workplace safety practices, building maintenance standards, and vendor/contract management.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve both IT infrastructure and facility-related issues efficiently.
7. Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn new technologies and operational processes, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
8. Excellent organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and stakeholders simultaneously.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in user-friendly language and collaborate effectively with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and building occupants.
10. Customer-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and commitment to delivering responsive IT and facility support to ensure smooth business operations.
11. Proficient in preparing technical documentation, maintenance records, reports, and standard operating procedures.
12. Must be willing to work in Cyberjaya.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee the company’s Information technology related matters such as IT infrastructure, technical support, networking, server, IT security, vendor sourcing management

Job Functions

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's IT infrastructure and facility to ensure a safe, secure, and efficient working environment.
2. Administer, monitor, maintain, and provide operational support for IT infrastructure, including computer hardware, servers, LAN/WAN networks, internet services, Data Center facilities, and related equipment.
3. Provide technical and end-user support for the corporate office, while coordinating and assisting support teams across other subsidiaries when required.
4. Ensure the availability, security, preventive maintenance, and recovery of IT systems, servers, network infrastructure, and Data Center operations.
5. Manage the daily operations and maintenance of the building and facilities, ensuring all building services, equipment, and utilities are functioning efficiently.
6. Develop, implement, and monitor IT infrastructure and facility policies, procedures, maintenance schedules, and operational standards.
7. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for IT solutions, facility maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and infrastructure improvement projects.
8. Respond to and resolve IT support requests, facility work orders, building issues, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
9. Plan, execute, and support infrastructure and facility improvement projects to optimize operational efficiency across the site and Data Center
10. Promote workplace safety by conducting regular facility inspections, initiating safety awareness campaigns, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
11. Maintain accurate technical documentation, maintenance records, asset inventories, and performance reports for ITinfrastructure and facility operations.
12. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
