We are seeking a Product / Platform Engineer to support hardware-related technical issues for post-launch x86-based computing platforms, processors, chipsets, and embedded systems. The engineer will serve as a technical expert responsible for customer issue triage, debugging, root cause analysis, validation, and resolution of platform hardware issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported hardware issues.
• Perform hardware debugging, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Review schematics, PCB layouts, and platform designs.
• Support board bring-up, platform integration, and customer design-in activities.
• Analyze signal integrity, power integrity, and system-level hardware interactions.
• Collaborate with software, firmware, validation, and product engineering teams.
• Document technical findings and drive issues to closure.
• Support customer escalations and provide technical guidance.

Technical Requirements

• Strong understanding of computer architecture and x86-based processors and chipsets.
• Knowledge of digital electronics, embedded systems, and hardware design fundamentals.
• Understanding of signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and power delivery concepts.
• Experience reviewing electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Strong hardware debugging and troubleshooting capability.
• Knowledge of standard embedded interfaces and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe, GPIO, Ethernet)
• Experience using lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters, protocol analyzers, and related tools.
• Familiarity with board bring-up, validation, and design verification activities.
• Experience with SI/PI simulation tools is an advantage.
• PCB design knowledge is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3–8 years of relevant experience in hardware development, validation, technical support, or customer engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
