A leading international manufacturing group, with an established production site in Malaysia, is seeking a dynamic, experienced professional to join its site leadership team. This role sits within the business, and the successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing all operational functions across the site, ensuring efficiency, business continuity, and strong cross-functional alignment as the company continues to scale and evolve.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Leads daily operations across production, quality, warehouse, procurement, and pre-production, ensuring continuity and alignment with business objectives
• Translates business strategy into operational plans, driving capacity planning, resource allocation, and productivity improvement programmes
• Drives process optimisation and continuous improvement through lean methodologies, digitalisation, and automation across production and warehouse workflows
• Oversees procurement strategy, supplier management, inventory optimisation, and global logistics coordination
• Promotes a strong safety culture and oversees quality systems, audits, and risk mitigation to safeguard business continuity
• Leads, develops, and builds capability across a multidisciplinary operational team

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, with 10-15 years of relevant experience in a similar industry
• Strong expertise in operational strategy, performance management, and multidisciplinary team leadership
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional operations and manage large-scale projects
• Strong background in ERP/WMS systems and data-driven decision-making
• High attention to detail, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven track record of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and cost optimisation
• Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams
• Citizen of Malaysia
