Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily production operations, ensuring manufacturing processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards. This role offers excellent exposure to production planning, process improvement, quality assurance, and plant operations within the precast concrete manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise daily production activities to ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
- Ensure production activities comply with company SOPs, quality requirements, and workplace safety regulations.
- Monitor machine and equipment performance and coordinate with the Maintenance Department on preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor material consumption, production output, and wastage to improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and production resources.
- Prepare and maintain daily production reports, productivity records, and operational documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing, 6S, process optimization, and productivity enhancement projects.
- Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance, Logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, environmental requirements, and occupational safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with experience in manufacturing, precast concrete, construction materials, or heavy industries will have an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Solidworks or engineering drawing interpretation will be an added advantage.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and support production operations.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
