About the Role
The H2S Junior Warehouse & Service Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse and technical operations of H2S Department at Kemaman Supply Base (KSB) and Asian Supply Base (ASB). The role ensures H2S equipment is properly received, stored, maintained, inspected, documented and ready for operational deployment while maintaining inventory accuracy and compliance with Company, client and regulatory requirements.
This position is also required to provide support for offshore operations as backup H2S personnel whenever operational requirements arise.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Warehouse Operations
- Assist in maintaining warehouse inventory, including proper identification, labelling, storage, preservation, cleanliness and housekeeping of all equipment and materials.
- Receive, inspect, identify, record sort, organise and store company equipment and customer properties at the designated location.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper documentation for goods receipt, equipment issuance, returns, transfers and shipment activities.
- Assist in conducting periodic stock counts, inventory reconciliation and equipment traceability to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Prepare, pack and mobilise H2S Safety equipment and related materials for operational and project requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and promptly report equipment shortages, damage, discrepancies or abnormal conditions to the Supervisor.
- Ensure warehouse and workshop areas are maintained in a clean, safe and organised condition at all times.
Technical Support and Equipment Maintenance
- Assist the H2S Safety Technician/Engineer in performing inspection, preventive maintenance, functional testing and calibration preparation of H2S Safety equipment including: Portable Gas Detector, Fixed H2S Detection System, Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus (SABA), Emergency Escape Breathing Apparatus (EEBA) and Air Breathing Compressor and related equipment.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, cleaning, servicing and equipment preparation under supervision.
- Ensure H2S Safety equipment is properly maintained, serviceable and ready for deployment.
- Assist in maintaining H2S Safety tools, workshop equipment and spare parts inventory.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, calibration records and equipment history documentation under supervision.
- Assist in monitoring preventive maintenance schedules and equipment certification validity, and notify the Supervisor of upcoming calibration or certification expiry dates.
- Ensure proper handling, storage and preservation of technical equipment in accordance with Company procedures and manufacturers’ recommendations.
General Responsibilities
- Comply with all Company policies, Quality Management System (QMS), Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management System requirements, work instructions and client requirements.
- Ensure all assigned work is carried out safely and in accordance with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe acts or unsafe conditions are identified.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives relating to warehouse operations, equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the H2S Warehouse Supervisor, H2S Operation Manager or their designee.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education
- Possess at least SPM or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, equipment handling and documentation processes.
- Minimum 1 year experience in handling H2S Equipment.
- Basic knowledge of H2S Safety equipment will be an added advantage.
- Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to maintain inventory records and equipment documentation.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, inventory documentation and equipment maintenance records.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Other Requirements
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Relevant technical training or internship experience will be an added advantage.
- Physically fit and able to lift, carry and handle warehouse materials and H2S Safety equipment.
- Willing to travel between Company bases and support offshore operations whenever required.
- Able to work overtime, weekends and public holidays when operational requirements arise.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
