Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessments, treatment and rehabilitation programmes for patients.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve patients’ functional abilities and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate counseling, education and follow-up care.
- Prepare accurate patient documentation, reports and treatment records.
- Collaborate with consultants, multidisciplinary teams and caregivers to support patient recovery.
Requirements
- Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
- Registered Occupational Therapist with the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
- Possess a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) (where applicable).
- Clinical experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
