Role Description The Finance Executive is a full-time role based in WP Kuala Lumpur with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining accurate financial statements and records, as well as ensuring timely financial reporting for management and regulatory purposes. The Finance Executive will handle tax-related matters, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), assist in budgeting and forecasting, and support internal financial analysis to guide business decisions. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring expenses and revenues, reconciling accounts, assisting with audits, and collaborating with consulting teams to align financial processes with project activities. The role also involves contributing to the improvement of financial workflows and supporting the implementation of finance-related controls in a technology-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to maintain accurate records and support sound financial decision-making.
• Candidates should possess Financial Reporting skills, including preparing management reports, regulatory filings, and periodic financial summaries.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Sales and Services Tax (SST) and related compliance requirements.
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support budgeting and forecasting.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and support cross-functional teams.
• Experience in consulting, technology, or automation-focused organizations is beneficial.
