We are seeking an experienced Compliance & EHS Manager to lead our Compliance and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) function. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role will drive compliance initiatives, oversee customer and regulatory audits, strengthen workplace safety and ensure alignment with international standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Social Responsibility
- Develop, implement and continuously improve compliance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
- Lead Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), ESG, Sedex and BSCI compliance programmes.
- Manage ethics, Code of Conduct and grievance management processes.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and monitor corrective action implementation.
Audit & Regulatory Compliance
- Lead customer, third-party and regulatory audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other applicable legal and customer requirements.
- Liaise with customers, auditors and government authorities including DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.
- Maintain audit readiness and oversee timely closure of audit findings.
Environmental, Health & Safety
- Lead the company's EHS management system and workplace safety initiatives.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Ensure statutory compliance and emergency preparedness.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Training & Reporting
- Develop and deliver compliance and safety awareness programmes.
- Prepare compliance and EHS reports for senior management and headquarters.
- Monitor compliance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Law or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Compliance, Social Compliance or EHS within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Responsible Business Alliance (RBA)
- ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001
- OSHA 1994
- ESG
- Sedex
- BSCI
- Experience leading customer audits, social compliance assessments and regulatory inspections.
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.
- Professional certification such as SHO (NIOSH), ISO Lead Auditor or Compliance certification is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good command of English.
