Job Description: Support the Senior Manager/Manager in the implementation of the hospital informatics strategic roadmap through the intelligent use of health informatics to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care.

Challenges

Your Key Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Project management of EMR systems enhancements including feasibility assessment, workflow optimisation and solution evaluation and implementation, including projects documentation for communications across the hospital
  • Support the maintenance and operationalization of policies, guidelines and frameworks which governs the development and implementation of clinical and health IT systems supporting patient care like Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Work with department EMR system builders to understand build requirements
  • Provide secretariat support to EMR committees and project workgroups
  • Working in partnership with stakeholders like Synapxe, TTSH and NHG stakeholders, and other public healthcare institutions to address users’ business requirements

Requirements

  • At least a tertiary degree from a recognized university. Preferably 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office like Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint a must.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and people management.
  • Strong analytical skills to manage complex issues and with the ability to collect, organize, analyse and process information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to initiate, deliver and drive projects with independently.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Health informatics certification, and project management certification (PMP) a plus.
  • Experience in healthcare policy writing and healthcare systems governance is a plus.
