Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to manage a designated section of the kitchen and ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate should have strong cooking skills, be organized, and work well in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food following company recipes and quality standards to ensure consistent dish quality
• Manage and oversee a designated kitchen section during service to maintain smooth operations
• Present food consistently and efficiently to meet company standards and customer expectations
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the kitchen to comply with regulations
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and stock rotation to minimize waste
• Guide and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to enhance team performance and kitchen efficiency
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment to prolong equipment life and safety
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef to support kitchen operations

Preferred Competencies and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Chef de Partie role
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
• Ability to work independently and maintain performance under pressure
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with kitchen staff
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to uphold kitchen standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned to support the team
