Job Summary

You will manage tender processes for fire protection projects, including document review, cost estimation, client communication, and contract administration to support successful project acquisition and execution.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily tender invitations and respond promptly to client and customer emails to secure project opportunities
• Handle client phone inquiries related to tender processes to provide accurate and timely information
• Analyze tender documents such as drawings and specifications to prepare accurate bids
• Develop bills of quantity and request supplier pricing for specialized equipment to ensure competitive quotations
• Prepare sales checklists, cost estimations, quotations, and other tender-related documents to support proposal submissions
• Adjust and resubmit costing as required to meet client or project requirements
• Submit tender proposals punctually to maintain company competitiveness
• Create slide presentations for tender proposals to effectively communicate project value
• Organize and maintain tender documents on the server following ISO standard folder structures for easy retrieval and compliance
• Attend tender briefings, site surveys, and tender interviews at job sites to gather information and represent the company
• Ensure Contract Letters of Award are fully executed and distributed to relevant parties and internal departments for project commencement
• Conduct bill of quantity measurements and trace or sketch drawings at job sites when necessary to verify project details

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Fire Protection
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software for accurate design interpretation and documentation
• Ability to work independently to manage tender processes and meet deadlines

• Immediate availability or ability to commence work at short notice
