Full Time PU - GI Jacketing Work Supervisor Jobs, Salary up to SGD 3,600 in MIAB ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

Job Purpose

To supervise and coordinate all polyurethane (PU) insulation and galvanized iron (GI) jacketing works, ensuring all installations are completed safely, according to project specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while complying with Singapore MOM, BCA, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Site Supervision

Supervise daily PU insulation and GI jacketing installation works.

Assign work to workers and subcontractors.

Ensure manpower is deployed efficiently.

Monitor productivity and work progress.

Conduct daily toolbox meetings before work starts.

6 days work a week

2. Work Planning & Coordination

Review construction drawings, insulation drawings, and project specifications.

Coordinate with Main Contractor, Project Engineer, Site Engineer, QA/QC Inspector, and Safety Officer.

Schedule work according to project milestones.

Coordinate with other trades to prevent work clashes.

3. Quality Control

Ensure PU insulation thickness complies with specifications.

Inspect GI jacketing installation for:

Correct material thickness

Proper overlap and joint sealing

Secure banding and fixing

Weatherproof finishing

Verify completed work before requesting inspections.

Rectify defects and punch list items.

4. Safety Management

Ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations.

Enforce the use of PPE.

Monitor safe work practices for:

Working at height

Scaffolding

Cutting and fabrication of GI sheets

Manual handling

Power tools

Stop unsafe work when necessary.

5. Material Control

Check delivery of insulation materials and GI sheets.

Monitor stock levels.

Prevent material wastage.

Report shortages to Project Engineer or Procurement.

6. Progress Monitoring

Prepare daily work progress reports.

Record manpower attendance.

Track completed quantities.

Report delays and recommend corrective actions.

7. Inspection & Documentation

Assist QA/QC during inspections.

Ensure work complies with approved method statements.

Inspection records

Material records

Handover documentation

8. Team Leadership

Supervise insulation technicians and jacketing workers.

Train new workers on installation methods and safety requirements.

Monitor workmanship.

Resolve site issues promptly.

Preferred Qualifications

3–5 years (or more) experience supervising insulation and GI jacketing works.

Experience in commercial, industrial, M&E, or HVAC construction projects.

Ability to read construction and M&E drawings.

Familiarity with Singapore construction practices and WSH requirements.
