Job Summary

Support veterinary operations by managing client interactions, assisting vets during consultations and surgeries, monitoring anaesthesia, conducting laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging, and maintaining clinic hygiene and stock.

Responsibilities

• Manage the reception desk to effectively handle client queries and provide excellent customer service
• Assist veterinarians during daily tasks and consultations to ensure smooth clinical operations
• Monitor anaesthesia and support surgical procedures to maintain animal safety and care quality
• Administer hospital treatments and perform laboratory tests to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment
• Assist in conducting diagnostic imaging to support veterinary assessments
• Perform administrative duties to maintain accurate records and clinic workflow
• Handle and maintain stock inventory to ensure availability of necessary supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the clinic to provide a safe environment for animals and staff
• Demonstrate compassion and willingness to care for and clean up after sick animals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sciences such as Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Veterinary Bioscience, or equivalent
• Experience in working with animals preferred.
• Availability to work on weekends as part of a 4-day work week
• Interest in career progression towards a supervisory role within the clinic
