Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The role involves coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure the successful execution of the project while maintaining safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily site construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding site progress and technical matters.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, and technical specifications before execution.
- Prepare and submit Requests for Inspection (RFI) and coordinate inspections with consultants.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
- Resolve technical issues encountered on site and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Ensure materials delivered to site comply with project specifications and approved standards.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–3 years of site engineering experience in civil, infrastructure, bridge, precast, or building construction projects.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, engineering practices, and quality control procedures.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
