• Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones, greeting guests, and maintaining records
• Interviewing job candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications for the position
• Monitoring staff performance to ensure they are meeting standards of quality service and customer satisfaction
• Conducting audits to ensure that all aspects of the hotel are in compliance with legal requirements
• Assisting in the development and implementation of budgets for departments within the hotel
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel to ensure smooth operation of all departments
• Reviewing guest feedback and making recommendations to management regarding any issues or concerns
• Managing the staff of the hotel, including hiring, training, scheduling, disciplining, and firing employees as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in the hotel industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of hotel operations, guest service standards, and departmental coordination.
• Proficient in hotel property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
