Job Purpose
To ensure the safety of members, guests, and visitors using the Club's swimming pool by providing constant surveillance, enforcing pool rules, responding to emergencies, and maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all activities in and around the swimming pool.
- Enforce pool rules and safety regulations.
- Prevent accidents by identifying and addressing unsafe behaviour.
- Respond immediately to emergencies and perform water rescues when required.
- Administer First Aid and CPR until medical assistance arrives.
- Conduct daily inspections of the pool area and report hazards or maintenance issues.
- Ensure lifesaving equipment is available, clean, and in good working condition.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool deck and surrounding areas.
- Record participants using the pool.
- Record incidents, accidents, and daily pool activities in the logbook.
- Assist members and guests with enquiries relating to pool facilities.
- Ensure pool signage is displayed appropriately.
- Support Club events or swimming activities when required.
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance defects or safety hazards.
- Update logbooks, inspection checklists, and maintenance records.
- Assist the Housekeeping & Grounds team with general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent.
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognised body.
- Valid First Aid and CPR/AED Certification.
- Good swimming and lifesaving skills.
- Confident in deep-water rescue techniques and capable of performing rescues in water depths of up to 10 ft (approximately 3 metres).
- Physically fit and able to respond quickly in emergencies.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Need to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts work.
Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month

Experience:
- Lifeguard: 2 years (Preferred)
