Supplier Development Manager

Location: CTRM AeroSystems Sdn. Bhd., Subang

Qualification and Education:

1. Bachelor Degree in related project management/supply chain field with minimum of 10 years of experience including 4 years of experience in the managerial field.
2. Diploma in related field project management/supply chain with minimum of 15 years of experience; 7 years of experience in the managerial field.

Experience:

1. Experience in project management/supply chain.
2.Extensive knowledge of aerospace and manufacturing specifications, drawings and customer/certification body practices.

Training Certification:

1. Project Management
2. Microsoft Project
3. AS9100 and NADCAP Requirement
4. Advanced/Strategic Leadership development
5. Advanced Management skills
6. Finance for non-finance manager
7. Lean philosophy

Job Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate Supplier Transfer of Work activities
2. Lead Project Management from initiation until Initial Stage Control (ISC) using Advanced 3. Product Quality Planning (APQP) or equivalent approach
4. Lead the team through identifying cost opportunities via Rationalization & Coordination (R&C) activities
5. Establish business case proposal as per identified cost opportunities
6. Perform supplier scouting by assessing new and existing supplier capabilities
7. Facilitate and develop the supply base’s ability to consistently meet or exceed defined expectations
8. Develop positive relationships and work closely with Procurement & SQA team to manage, implement and track supplier/engineering, design changes, capacity study, New Product Introductions, and transfers
9. Lead supplier crisis management, setup recovery plan and monitor supplier’s recovery performance
10. Contribute to continuous improvement activities
11. Carry out other duties as assigned by Head of Division from time to time
12. To manage and act on behalf of respective Division, in event of the Head of Division absence.
13. Monthly tracking and monitoring the company KPI achievement
14. Weekly departmental report
15. Daily crisis management status
