We’re Hiring: Clinic Assistant

Location: Primary Care Clinic
Position: Full-time

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organised Clinic Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with patients, supporting doctors, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

You will work closely with doctors, nurses, and patients, assisting in both clinical and administrative duties, including:

Clinical Duties

• Assisting doctors during patient assessment, examination, diagnosis, and treatment
• Preparing and setting up treatment & examination rooms
• Recording vital signs
• Assisting with routine procedures and minor surgery
• Performing basic laboratory tests
• Practising aseptic technique and infection control
• Sterilising equipment and maintaining a clean, organised clinical environment
• Administering medications (as per clinic protocol)

Administrative Duties

• Managing patient flow and prioritising tasks efficiently
• Arranging lab investigations and prescriptions
• Filing and maintaining patient medical records
• Submitting claims to panel companies and following up on payments
• Communicating with patients professionally (in person, phone, and messages)
