Role:

• We are hiring an experienced senior test manager supporting a large, multi-country quality assurance managed services engagement within a telecommunications environment.
• This is a senior delivery leadership role with responsibility for approximately 30–32 QA professionals across multiple locations.
• You will oversee functional, regression, automation, and performance testing while working closely with business, engineering, operations, programme teams, vendors, and senior client stakeholders.
• The role is suitable for someone who combines strong testing knowledge with people leadership, client management, and sound quality judgement under delivery pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end QA engagement, covering test strategy, planning, execution governance, reporting, and release readiness.
• Lead a distributed team of approximately 30–32 QA professionals across multiple countries and delivery locations.
• Set priorities, clarify ownership, and coordinate delivery across teams, locations, and time zones.
• Define and govern the approach across functional, regression, automation, and performance testing.
• Review test coverage, defect trends, delivery risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
• Lead or facilitate client governance meetings and communicate delivery status, risks, and recommendations.
• Work with business, engineering, operations, programme teams, and external vendors to resolve issues and dependencies.
• Strengthen automation coverage, testing efficiency, quality gates, and continuous testing practices.
• Develop test leads and build stronger leadership capability across the engagement.
• Identify practical and governed uses of AI that can improve test design, analysis, automation, or delivery productivity.
• Drive measurable improvements in production quality, regression reliability, release predictability, and service performance.

Required Skills:

• 10 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality engineering, or equivalent depth gained through complex QA delivery leadership.
• Experience managing enterprise-level testing programmes or QA-managed services engagements.
• Relevant telecommunications experience, including exposure to telecom platforms, services, or customer journeys.
• Demonstrated experience leading large, geographically distributed QA teams.
• Practical knowledge of test strategy, functional testing, regression testing, and automation governance.
• Good understanding of performance testing and non-functional quality risks.
• Experience managing senior client, business, and delivery stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate quality risks, trade-offs, and release recommendations clearly.
• Effective people leadership, delegation, coaching, and escalation-management skills.
• Ability to raise and constructively challenge delivery decisions when quality or customer impact is at risk.
