Account Executive
Experience Required
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry.
- Experience handling full sets of accounts and supporting finance operations in a multi-outlet environment is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Accounting
- Handle the full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain complete and accurate accounting records in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process supplier invoices and payments promptly.
- Monitor customer collections and outstanding balances.
- Reconcile supplier statements and customer accounts.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and account issues.
Cash Flow & Treasury
- Monitor daily cash flow and bank balances.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend actions to maintain healthy liquidity.
- Process bank transactions and reconcile all banking activities.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyse operating expenses, food costs, labour costs, and profitability.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve business performance.
Payroll Support
- Prepare and verify payroll data, including attendance, overtime, allowances, and deductions.
- Coordinate with the HR department to ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time.
Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare statutory submissions and ensure timely compliance with applicable regulations.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Support annual audits and ensure all financial documentation is audit-ready.
Inventory & Cost Control
- Monitor inventory transactions and stock valuation.
- Reconcile inventory records with physical stock counts.
- Analyse food costs, beverage costs, wastage, and operational variances.
- Recommend cost-saving initiatives and strengthen internal controls.
Financial Controls & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Identify financial risks and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and supporting records.
- Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Experience handling full sets of accounts independently.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
