What You'll Do
As a Test & Debug Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our electronic products meet the highest quality standards by diagnosing, troubleshooting, testing, and repairing products before they reach our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and repair of electronic products and PCB assemblies.
- Diagnose product failures, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Conduct functional testing and verification to ensure products meet engineering and customer specifications.
- Read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, work instructions, and technical documentation.
- Use debugging tools and electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic instruments.
- Repair or replace faulty electronic components and verify repair effectiveness.
- Record troubleshooting findings, repair activities, and testing results accurately for traceability.
- Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering documentation.
- Work closely with Engineers, Production, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while complying with company quality and safety standards.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.
What We're Looking For Education
- Minimum SPM, Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Minimum 1–5 years of experience in electronic troubleshooting, debugging, testing, or repair within a manufacturing environment.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge and a strong willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of electronic circuit troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with electronic testing equipment is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
