We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Surveyor to join AI Elite Technology in Johor Bahru District, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance across our construction projects. As a Quality Surveyor, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and verifying that all construction work meets the required specifications, standards, and regulations. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring that every project is delivered to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive inspections and surveys of construction sites, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
- Prepare detailed quality reports and documentation, identifying any defects or non-conformances and recommending corrective actions
- Liaise with contractors, project managers, and site supervisors to address quality issues and ensure timely remediation
- Monitor material deliveries and testing to verify that all supplies meet required quality standards before use on site
- Perform dimensional checks and measurements to ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Maintain comprehensive quality records, test certificates, and compliance documentation throughout project lifecycle
- Conduct site audits and quality walkthroughs to identify potential risks and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with health and safety teams to promote a culture of quality and compliance on site
- Prepare quality assurance plans and procedures for new projects in line with company standards
- Train and guide site teams on quality requirements and best practices
What we're looking for
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a Quality Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, building codes, and relevant Malaysian regulations
- Proficiency in quality control methodologies and inspection techniques
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and document defects accurately
- Proficiency in using quality assurance software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to produce clear, comprehensive reports and documentation
- Sound understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and commitment to promoting site safety
- Certification in relevant quality assurance standards (such as ISO 9001) is preferred
- Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is advantageous
Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
