Salling Search is currently recruiting for an HR Manager for a leading ship supply company. This role offers the opportunity to lead HR strategy and operations for a well established player in the maritime supply chain, based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives to support growth and operational excellence
• Manage end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, and employee relations to foster a productive workplace
• Plan and control manpower requirements and workforce budgeting across departments to optimize resource allocation
• Ensure strict compliance with the Employment Act and other relevant Singapore labour laws to mitigate legal risks
• Design and implement employee engagement, training, and talent development programs to enhance workforce skills and retention
• Administer work pass applications, renewals, and government submissions to maintain legal workforce eligibility
• Provide management with informed advice on HR policies, disciplinary actions, and organizational change initiatives to support sound decision-making
• Oversee payroll processing and coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements

Requirements

• Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Experience in shipping, marine, or logistics industries is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Singapore employment law and work pass frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
