Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis for incidents, defects, and production issues escalated by Level 1 support.
• Analyze application logs, system behavior, and technical data to diagnose and resolve application issues.
• Reproduce reported issues through testing and validation to identify appropriate solutions.
• Develop and implement corrective fixes, workarounds, and data patches for incidents and problems.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution documents, and support procedures.
• Monitor application performance, response times, system health, and resource utilization to ensure service availability.
• Perform SQL queries, scripting, and data extraction to support business and operational requirements.
• Take ownership of incident and problem tickets, ensuring timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Provide application support during deployment, release, and production implementation activities.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, business users, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve application stability, support processes, and system performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2–3 years of experience in the IT industry, with hands-on experience in Level 2/Level 3 application support.
• Experience supporting Java-based applications in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
• Experience in system recovery, data recovery, and production issue resolution.
• Proficiency in SQL, database querying, and scripting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
