Summary
Manage the end-to-end payroll process and accountable for the accuracy and integrity of employee data.
Responsibilities
• Manage the end-to-end payroll process including data validation, salary calculations, and timely salary disbursement for all employees, while ensuring full compliance with employment regulations and handling tax clearance procedures.
• Co-ordinate and verify with production supervisor and HR to validate attendance records, attendance approval, shift schedule, overtime claim and leave application before submitting to payroll vendor
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and within stipulated timelines.
• Prepare payroll reports for other functions and filing for audit purposes.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies relate to attendance, leave and payroll calculations.
• Respond to employee’s payroll inquiries regarding salary, deductions, overtimes and statutory matters
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies
Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Business or HR or relevant qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience, preferably with MNC exposure
• Strong and up to date knowledge of payroll, HR policies, employment regulations, legislation and best practices
• Able to work both independently and as part of team
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in fast-paced environment and manage payroll for large headcounts
• Strong sense of urgency and able to commit tight deadlines
500 HC payroll processing experience will be advantageous.
