Role Description The Assistant Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The individual in this role supports daily operations, coordinates project activities, and assists in managing teams to ensure that construction and property-related projects are executed efficiently and in line with company standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring project timelines and budgets, preparing reports and documentation, liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, and helping implement process improvements. The Assistant Manager also contributes to maintaining quality control, enforcing safety and regulatory compliance, and supporting senior management in strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and stakeholders effectively.
  • Competence in project management practices, including planning, tracking progress, managing budgets, and preparing status reports.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with team members, management, clients, and external partners.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and support process improvements.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office) and familiarity with project management tools or construction-related systems.
  • Relevant academic qualification, such as a diploma or degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in construction, property development, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail.
