We're looking for a Front of House / Service Crew to join a welcoming café team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. If you enjoy interacting with customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and creating memorable dining experiences, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Malaysian citizen or possess a valid work permit.
• Well-groomed with good personal hygiene.
• Able to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-oriented personality.
• Able to remain calm when handling customer enquiries or feedback.
• Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash or cashless transactions.
• Able to multitask efficiently during busy operating hours.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage options, or dietary alternatives is an added advantage.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler's Certificate and Typhoid Vaccination.

ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service

• Welcome customers with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Take customer orders accurately and recommend menu items when appropriate.
• Serve beverages, baked goods, and food according to company quality standards.
• Ensure every customer enjoys a pleasant dining experience.

Café Operations

• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages following established recipes.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Operate the café's POS system and process customer payments accurately.

Inventory & Housekeeping

• Restock front counter supplies such as cups, napkins, utensils, and condiments.
• Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors before supplies run low.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service counter, coffee machines, and workstations.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
