Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Klang Valley for a Field Services Engineer. The role entails conducting field service tasks such as equipment setup, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues on SIG’s packaging equipment. The selected candidate will deliver prompt and effective technical support to customers, ensuring the optimal performance of machinery and fostering strong client relationships through excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Field Service tasks, including equipment installation and maintenance.
• Experience in Troubleshooting and performing Technical Support to resolve equipment issues effectively.
• Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance practices to ensure reliable equipment operation.
• Strong Customer Service skills for building and maintaining professional client relationships.
• Technical education or certification in engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is highly preferred. Candidates holding Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechatronics preferred. Mechanical, Advance Diploma and Diploma will be considered based on experience.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience in packaging machinery or similar industrial equipment is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel and work in an on-site environment.
• Proficient in PLC is an added advantage (required for Electrical position)
• Automation proficiency is a must.
• Fresh graduates are not encouraged to apply due to job nature and requirements. This position requires minimum 3 years of experience, preferably food industry/FMCG.
