AVP – IT Product Technical Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Product Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across cloud-native products and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS, modern application architecture, product/solution engineering, and end-to-end technology delivery.

The role requires a hands-on technology leader who can work closely with product, business, architecture, engineering, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and delivery of digital products and technology platforms.
• Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to engineering and product teams.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient solutions using AWS and cloud-native technologies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, architects, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Translate business and product requirements into appropriate technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Drive engineering best practices across application development, APIs, microservices, integration, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, performance, and scalability requirements.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and implementation challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Mentor engineering teams and promote strong technical standards and continuous improvement.
• Participate in technology planning, estimation, prioritization, and product roadmap discussions.

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience in AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native application development.
• Proven experience in technical leadership, solution engineering, product engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture, microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital products or platforms.
• Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, and production support practices.
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions and make architecture/design recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively across product, business, engineering, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in financial services, banking, insurance, or other large enterprise environments.
• AWS certifications or relevant cloud/architecture certifications.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum product delivery.
• Exposure to security, governance, and regulatory requirements in enterprise technology environments.
