Stage Director

Job Description:

Aimo Entertainment is looking for a Stage Director to plan, coordinate, and oversee live stage productions and performances.

The successful candidate will ensure smooth show execution by managing rehearsals, coordinating performers and technical teams, and maintaining production standards during live events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and coordinate live performances, stage productions, and entertainment events.
• Develop rehearsal schedules and oversee production preparation.
• Coordinate with performers, artistic teams, technicians, and event personnel.
• Manage stage activities during rehearsals and live performances.
• Ensure productions comply with safety, operational, and quality standards.
• Review show flow and provide direction to improve audience experience.
• Resolve operational and performance-related issues during productions.
• Support artistic planning and production development initiatives.
• Maintain production documentation and show schedules.

Requirements:

• Diploma, Degree, or equivalent professional qualification in Performing Arts, Theatre Production, Stage Management, Event Management, or related disciplines.
• Experience in stage production, live entertainment, theatre, concerts, or event operations.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and in fast-paced environments.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, when required by production schedules.
