Security SupervisorAbout the Role

Ascott Star KLCC is looking for an experienced and proactive Security Supervisor to lead our Security team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, visitors, and company assets, while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the Security team during assigned shifts.
• Conduct regular patrols, inspections, and security briefings to ensure safety standards are maintained.
• Monitor the security of guests, employees, visitors, and company assets.
• Plan and deploy security personnel to ensure adequate coverage across the property.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, thefts, and security concerns, and prepare reports accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with security procedures, fire safety regulations, and emergency response protocols.
• Monitor access control, key management, and staff entrance procedures.
• Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.
• Assist with VIP visits, special events, and emergency situations.
• Train, guide, and support Security Officers to maintain professionalism and service excellence.
• Prepare daily reports, duty rosters, and other security documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; a Diploma in Security Management or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel, serviced residence, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of security operations, investigations, emergency procedures, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergencies.
• Physically fit and willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining security records.
• Professional, responsible, and service-oriented with a strong commitment to guest safety and satisfaction.
