Job Summary
You will manage finance, office administration, and HR functions to support operational efficiency and compliance. This role involves handling billing, payroll, reporting, and employee records for a small team, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly billings to ensure accurate revenue recognition and cash flow management
- Manage accounts receivable and payable to maintain financial accuracy and vendor relationships
- Administer petty cash and expense claims to control office expenditures
- Prepare monthly financial reports to support management decision-making
- Submit GST filings punctually to comply with tax regulations
- Perform bank-related duties including reconciliations and transaction monitoring
- Coordinate with the company secretary for year-end accounts reporting to ensure statutory compliance
- Maintain Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets for financial tracking
- Execute other finance-related ad-hoc duties to support business needs
- Oversee daily office administration to maintain smooth operations
- Manage pantry and office space to ensure a functional work environment
- Control staff movement and maintain employee records such as leave and claims for a team of 10
- Process monthly payroll and submit CPF contributions timely to comply with statutory requirements
- Prepare and submit IR8A tax forms accurately and on schedule
- Review and coordinate yearly insurance coverage renewal to ensure adequate protection
- Submit childcare leave and NS pay claims to government agencies as required
- Perform other HR-related ad-hoc duties to support workforce management
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma qualification and LCCI Accounting certificate as foundational credentials
- Proficiency in MS Office and MYOB to perform finance and administrative tasks efficiently
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong resourcefulness, meticulous attention to detail, and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with a positive and proactive attitude
