Role Summary
The HR Assistant (Payroll) is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing, while supporting day-to-day HR operations. This role requires strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and the ability to manage sensitive employee data with integrity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Management (Core Focus)
- Process monthly payroll accurately and on time for all employees (HQ + outlets)
- Ensure compliance with EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB (LHDN) statutory requirements
- Prepare and submit EA forms, CP8D, Borang E, and other statutory reports
- Maintain payroll records, including overtime, allowances, deductions, and claims
- Liaise with finance and external payroll vendors (if any) to ensure data accuracy
- Identify discrepancies and proactively resolve payroll issues
2. HR Operations Support
- Maintain and update employee records (HRIS / files)
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes (contracts, documentation)
- Track attendance, leave records, and shift data (especially for outlet staff)
- Assist in drafting HR letters (confirmation, warning, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia Employment Act & internal policies
3. Compliance & Governance
- Ensure payroll and HR processes are aligned with labour law requirements
- Support internal audits and documentation for HR compliance
- Flag risks or inconsistencies to HR Manager / Management
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in HR, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field
- 1–4 years experience in payroll or HR operations
- Strong knowledge of Malaysia payroll statutory (EPF, SOCSO, PCB, EA forms)
- Experience using payroll systems (e.g., SQL Payroll, AutoCount, etc.) is a plus
- High attention to detail and strong data accuracy mindset
- Able to handle confidential information with integrity
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-outlet environment (F&B experience is a bonus)

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
