Position: Business Development Executive

Salary Range: 3,000 -6,000

We are looking for the position of an Assistant to the Business Development Manager to act as a liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams. Your role will be to seek out new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential developers/shopping centres.

To be successful in this role, you should have a knowledge of and interest in the retail market and consumer trends. You will use your communication skills to build strong relationships with the developer from initial contact through to deal completion. If you're motivated, results-oriented and enjoy working as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will be driving sales and contributing to our long-term business growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Sourcing for potential expansion proposals (shoplot or malls in Malaysia) and attend to enquiries.
• To work seamlessly with the agent, owner, landlord and internal department.
• Conduct market research, traffic counts, and prepare all relevant reports to seek management approval.
• Assist in leasing operational matters and renewal discussion.
• Update and follow-up on agreements and proposals.
• Work closely with superior on the overall department performance and goals
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when requires.

Requirements: -

• Preferable graduated from "Business Administration", "Statistics", "Marketing" or other related departments.
• Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
• Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
• Proficient in MS Office and marketing software (e.g. CRM)
• Familiarity and interest with the retail market and consumer trends
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities
• Creativity and commercial awareness
• At least 2 years relevant working experience in F&B/ Retail Business Development & Leasing
• Salary offer depends on experiences

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
