Role Description The Baker role at AEON CO. (M) BHD. is a full-time, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur. The Baker is responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking a variety of bakery products, including breads, cookies, pastries, and other baked goods according to company standards and recipes. Daily tasks include measuring ingredients, operating baking equipment, monitoring baking processes, and ensuring consistent product quality and presentation. The Baker also helps with product labeling, stock rotation, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic work area in compliance with food safety regulations. The role involves working closely with the team to meet production schedules, support customer demand, and assist in developing new bakery items as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bakery operations, including Baking and Food Preparation.
• Ability to produce a range of baked goods such as Bread and Cookies to consistent quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and proper handling of ingredients and equipment.
• Previous experience in a commercial bakery, supermarket bakery, or related food service environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required by retail operations.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to follow recipes, production plans, and safety guidelines.
