As we continue to expand our business, we are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team and drive growth across our diverse portfolio of products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Power, and Industrial sectors.
- Conduct market intelligence and industry research to identify new business opportunities within the oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, marine, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with asset owners, operators, EPC contractors, engineering consultants, and key industry stakeholders.
- Promote Jurunature’s portfolio of engineering solutions, products, and services to existing and prospective clients.
- Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, presentations, and tender submissions.
- Reviewing vendor/supplier proposals and assessing cost efficiency and risks.
- Develop plans for tender process activities to achieve targets and streamline processes.
- Work closely with technical, HSE and project teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
- Working closely with sales, product development teams, and other departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- Monitor market trends, industry developments, and upcoming projects to identify new business opportunities.
- Gather and analyze market data to support strategic business decisions and sales forecasting.
- Represent Jurunature at client meetings, technical seminars, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support contract execution.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and prepare regular business development reports.
- Achieve agreed sales and business development targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in business development, technical sales, account management, or a related commercial role.
- Experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Marine, Power, or Industrial sectors is an advantage.
- Candidates with prior experience working for EPC contractors, shipyards, offshore fabrication yards, engineering consultants, equipment manufacturers, or oil & gas service companies will be given preference.
- Strong understanding of the oil & gas project lifecycle, including EPC, construction and maintenance phases.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with strong commercial acumen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia and occasionally overseas.
