Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Finance Executive role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Finance Executive will handle day-to-day financial operations, including preparation and review of financial statements, maintenance of general ledger records, and assistance in monthly and annual closing activities. The role includes supporting financial reporting requirements, monitoring cash flow, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting for property development projects. The Finance Executive will help ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other statutory requirements, and will liaise with auditors, tax agents, and banks as needed. The role also involves performing financial analysis to support management decision-making and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance review.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Financial Reporting, including management reports and statutory reporting.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with Goods and Services Tax (GST) and other relevant tax and regulatory requirements.
  • Relevant academic qualification such as a diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, manage deadlines, and maintain high levels of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Experience in property development or real estate finance is an added advantage.
