Join a dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive clinical services, focusing on holistic patient care that encompasses physical, emotional, and social well-being. This role offers avenues for continuous professional development and learning.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inpatient care for patients within the facility.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to formulate and manage patient care plans.
  • Mentor and nurture the growth of junior medical professionals.
  • Educate undergraduate and postgraduate physicians in family and geriatric medicine.
  • Engage in relevant research initiatives and quality improvement projects.
  • Participate in hospital-wide Special Interest Groups aimed at enhancing clinical care quality.

Requirements:

  • Basic Medical Degree with postgraduate qualifications that are registrable with the relevant medical council.
  • Postgraduate training in family medicine, geriatric medicine, general internal medicine, or rehabilitation medicine is mandatory for the following positions:
  • Associate Consultant/Consultant: Fellowship in Family Medicine or Advanced Specialist Training in geriatric medicine, rehabilitative medicine, or advanced internal medicine, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Registrar: MMed in Family Medicine, MRCP in Internal Medicine, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A strong commitment to caring for older adults and individuals with complex medical conditions, including cardiovascular, endocrine, and neurodegenerative diseases such as cerebrovascular accidents and Parkinson’s disease.
