Join a dynamic nursing team dedicated to providing exceptional care. This role offers the opportunity to lead operations while fostering a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the nursing team to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred care to residents.
- Plan and manage nursing manpower, staff deployment, and duty rosters to ensure adequate coverage across all shifts.
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Monitor residents' care plans, clinical outcomes, and nursing documentation to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, including infection prevention, audits, and incident investigations, while implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular ward rounds, addressing residents' care needs in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Support the orientation, training, competency assessment, and professional development of nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, doctors, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Assist with implementing new initiatives and improving clinical practices as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience.
- Candidates holding an Advanced Diploma are preferred.
- Experience in healthcare settings such as nursing homes or community care is advantageous.
- Strong leadership, management, and coaching skills.
- Good understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in clinical governance and quality improvement.
