Draft Engineer *Location:* Nilai, Negeri Sembilan

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented *Draft Engineer* to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing technical drawings, supporting product development, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure designs meet customer requirements and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with engineers to gather product requirements, specifications, and design concepts.
* Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software where applicable.
* Assist in preparing engineering drawings for sales orders and customer projects.
* Prepare proposal drawings and review them with the engineering team before submission.
* Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements, engineering standards, and company procedures.
* Revise and update drawings based on design changes and customer requirements.
* Support communication and coordination between the Engineering Department and other internal departments.
* Prepare and document production methods, including required equipment, tools, materials, and software.
* Assist in planning fabrication and production processes based on engineering designs.
* Prepare and calculate Bills of Quantities (BQ) and material requirements for projects.
* Maintain proper documentation and revision control of engineering drawings.
* Provide technical support to the Sales, Production, and Project teams.
* Perform other engineering and drafting duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.

#Requirements
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
* Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience is an advantage. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
* Proficient in **AutoCAD**. Knowledge of SolidWorks or other CAD software is an added advantage.
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
* Knowledge of Bill of Quantities (BQ) preparation is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
