Job Description: Purchasing Executive
Key Responsibilities

• Source, identify, and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery performance.
• Request quotations from suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of purchased materials and resolve any delivery issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, and procurement documentation.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with suppliers to support long-term business partnerships.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements and ensure materials are available as needed.
• Evaluate supplier performance regularly and recommend improvements or alternative sourcing options.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and budget requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field.
• At least 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement (fresh graduates with relevant knowledge may also be considered).
• Good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP/Purchasing systems is an advantage.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
