Full Time M-E - Assistant Manager Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in SOGO (KL) Department Store Federal Territory - Maukerja

Responsibilities:-

· Scope: Oversees M&E systems, facilities, and maintenance across Sogo’s outlets.

· Core Duty: Standardizes facilities procedures and leads decentralized, in-house store maintenance teams.

· Financial/Admin: Manages annual OPEX/CAPEX maintenance budgets, vendor contracts, and monthly compliance reporting.

· Objective: Minimizes system downtime, extends asset life, and ensures compliance with Malaysian building regulations.

Job Requirements & Qualifications:-

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

· Certification: Valid Chargeman BO Certificate is a distinct advantage; energy management certification preferred.

· Experience: Minimum 8 years in M&E engineering, preferably within retail malls or multi-site commercial properties.

· Leadership: Proven track record of managing and scheduling decentralized technical teams across multiple locations.

· Regulations: Strong knowledge of Malaysian building codes, Bomba certifications, OSHA guidelines, and DOSH/JKKP mandates.

· Technical Skills: Deep expertise in high-tension electrical systems, central HVAC plants, generators, and life-safety systems.

· Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently across all 5 store locations.

· Availability: Flexibility to respond to critical M&E emergencies outside of standard working hours.

· Languages: Professional verbal and written proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,795.53 per month
