Tanggungjawab

Environmental Science (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Microbiologist to be based at our E S Laboratories (M) Sdn Bhd, Kuantan Branch. This role involves conducting microbiological analyses of environmental samples while ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards and delivering accurate, high-quality laboratory results.

Location: Kuantan, Pahang
Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,500 per month

Qualification :

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology, Applied Biology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in water, wastewater, or environmental sample testing in an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited laboratory is an advantage but not essential.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Scope & Key Skills :

  • Conduct microbiological analyses of environmental samples (e.g., water, soil, and air) using APHA, ISO, and EPA-approved methods in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
  • Ensure accurate testing, data integrity, regulatory compliance, and timely reporting of laboratory results.
  • Prepare culture media, reagents, and laboratory equipment required for microbiological testing.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation while complying with quality control and laboratory safety procedures.
  • Good knowledge of microbial identification and quantification techniques.
  • Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 principles and laboratory quality management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, good record-keeping, communication, and teamwork skills.

Working Hours

  • Monday – Friday
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
