Role Description The Junior Executive, Project Engineer (Protege-RTW) role is a full-time one year contract, on-site position based in Kuala Lumpur and Segamat. This role supports the planning, execution, and monitoring of defence and security projects under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with project schedules, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and tracking project progress against milestones. The role also involves supporting electrical engineering design and implementation tasks, participating in site visits, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications. The Junior Executive, Project Engineer is expected to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain clear communication across project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills to support scheduling, coordination, and progress tracking.
• Candidates should possess Project Engineering skills to assist in technical execution, documentation, and solution implementation.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering knowledge to support design reviews, system integration, and troubleshooting.
• Relevant academic background in Engineering (preferably Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive or related fields) or equivalent technical qualification.
• Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn, participate in the Protege-RTW program, and grow within the defence and security industry.
